Job Description
Position : IOT Solution Architect
Location : German Town, Maryland
Contract
Client : HCL
Rate:$75/hr on C2C
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in IoT and cloud architecture, with a strong focus on device integration and high transaction processing systems.
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. In-depth knowledge of messaging architectures (e.g., MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ). Strong understanding of zero trust architecture principles and implementation. Experience with edge computing and IoT device management platforms. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex tasks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in roadside tolling or transportation systems.
Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning as applied to IoT data.
Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
