Job Description
Work Location: San Ramon, CA (Day 1 Onsite)
PL/SQL Developer will join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases (12c and above), UNIX scripting, Java, and modern DevOps tools.
This role requires a strong background in investment business knowledge and proficiency in using version control systems and automation tools.
Domain: Banking, Financial or asset management or investment banking / portfolio management
Key Responsibilities:
- PL/SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle 12c or higher.
- Database Management: Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of Oracle databases.
- Perform database tuning and troubleshooting.
- UNIX Scripting: Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts (versions 6/7/8) for automation and data manipulation.
- Java Development: Work with Java v6 and above, including integration with JMS (Java Messaging Service) for enterprise messaging.
- Version Control: Utilize Git for version control, manage code repositories, and collaborate on code changes.
- AWS: Utilize AWS services for deployment, scalability, and management of applications.
- CI/CD Tools: Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment processes using tools such as Harness or Jenkins.
- Issue Tracking: Use JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
- Job Scheduling: Manage job scheduling using tools like Autosys or Korn Job (JCL software experience a plus).
- Investment Business Knowledge: Apply expertise in investment business processes to ensure solutions align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
