Job Description :
Key Responsibilities:
Assess the current on-premises data warehouse architecture and proposed design for migration to GCP.
Evaluate the architecture for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide recommendations to optimize the architecture, focusing on BigQuery and other GCP services.
Analyze integration strategies between GCP/BigQuery and existing platforms, including Azure and Databricks.
Ensure integration aligns with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Recommend strategies to scale the architecture for future data and processing needs.
Ensure cost-effective use of GCP resources while meeting performance requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams, including data engineers, software architects, and IT operations.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, clearly communicating technical details.
Qualifications:
Experience:
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on GCP and BigQuery.
Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouse solutions on GCP.
Extensive knowledge of multi-cloud environments, particularly Azure and Databricks.
Experience in data migration from on-premises to cloud environments.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of GCP services, especially BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
Proficient in designing scalable, high-performance data architectures.
Familiarity with data integration techniques, ETL processes, and data governance.
