Rate : $70/Hr C2C
Job Description: Excellent understanding of System z architecture and strong experience with IBM z/OS operating system.
Performance tuning & Development of operational procedures.
Experience with IBM and OEM utilities, catalog management, Rexx, RMF, SMF, SAS, MXG, HMC, JES2, DFSMS, Flashcopy.
Knowledge of Coupling facility support, High Availability and Automation.
Experience/knowledge of parallel sysplex (GDPS), IBM system utilities.
Experience managing incidents on z/OS related issues, with emphasis on performance and tuning.
Ability to work and cross-team with members across the Mainframe Engineering team.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software product suite.
On-call rotation / weekend work required.
