Job Description
Title: Lead .NET Developer with AWS
Location: Remote US
W2 : $75/Hr
Client : USM
.NET application on AWS, only looking for AWS, use AWS pro-serve as well
Requirements:
Terraform
Use of EKS
Unit testing (with nunit), doing shift left, don’t need extreme TDD
Cucumber JS (is a plus) for integration testing
People who have AWS cert for architect/dev
· Must have a bachelor's degree or the equivalent in relevant work experience
· 4+ years of experience working in an Agile and/or iterative development environment
· Strong .NET developer that is comfortable implementing requirements without step-by-step instructions
· Experience working with AWS, migrating in-house platforms to utilize AWS infrastructure (IaC terraform, S3, EKS, RDS (Postgres), DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Lambda, SNS, SQS, LocalStack, etc.)
· Must have knowledge and ability to apply OOD (in .NET Core C#, HTML, JavaScript, Design Patterns) and impact to the application development process
· Must have a basic understanding of web services
· Must have experience using GIT in the development workflow
· Must have experience with writing unit tests preferably using Cucumber JS
· Must have knowledge of web development methodologies (primarily Agile/Scrum), application design, navigation, and information architecture
· Must have knowledge of basic database design and query language (SQL)
· Must be able develop to and define requirements and functional specifications for applications
· Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaboration, supporting company leadership and other team members
· Must have the ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism in an interrupt-driven environment
· Must have ability to manage multiple and changing priorities/tasks
· Must be flexible and embrace change
· Pair Programming experience is a plus
· Splunk experience is a plus
· Gitlab experience is a plus
· Docker Desktop experience a plus
