Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and maintaining Python applications, collaborate with senior.developer, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.
*Key Responsibilities:*
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of existing Python applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software features.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Debug and resolve software defects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Python developments and best practices.
*Required Qualifications:*
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Healthy knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
• Strong experience with Pandas, NumPy and SQLAlchemy.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Experience with Docker/containers.
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines.
• Experience with PostGres.
• Experience developing on Windows and deploying on Linux OS.
